Giving wedding favors is a relatively new tradition that has come about in recent years. Favors are not required, but they are often expected to be a part of any wedding party. Wedding favors are small, inexpensive items that the bride and groom give to their guests as a special “Thank you” gift. Wedding favors are supposed to be keepsakes that will call to mind the memories of the ceremony, the reception, and the happiness shared with the couple on their special day. What better way to preserve these special memories than including photo album favors and wedding cameras on the shopping list?
Photo album favors are small photo albums that only contain a few leaves for storing photos from the wedding. While these items could be given out and then wedding pictures sent along later, why not include a special gift of a wedding camera so that the guests can take their own pictures of the ceremony and reception? This way the guests have an opportunity to preserve for all time the specific moments that they want most to remember in the years to come.

Creativity goes quite a distance in gift giving and finding the perfect gift can be challenging at best. Referencing a book on the subject may help to spark your imagination in finding a wonderful present that she will love.
You can’t lose with lingerie. Be sure to pay special attention to what her style and size is before heading to the store to buy an anniversary gift of lingerie. Take a cue from what she already has and don’t forget the slippers.
If you come from a family that keeps items through the generations there’s no better gift than that of a family heirloom for a wedding present. You are passing along the lineage of relatives to the newlyweds to keep the traditions in your family alive.
Have candy delivered to her office for her birthday. Women love to get presents delivered to work, it show everyone that you care about her and then they all know it’s a special day for her and everyone can celebrate with her too (maybe in Paris). Plus she can share the candy with her co-workers.

Leave your guests with creative wedding favors and they will always remember your special day. If you need to save money while panning your wedding, consider making homemade favors. It is fun and will show your guests something interesting about you.
Consider making music CDs as favors. A box of blank CDs is inexpensive and labels are easy to make. Create a song list of your favorite tunes and transfer them on to the CDs. Be sure to include your first dance in the mix!
If your guests know you to be a gourmet cook, consider making food favors. Jams, preserves, spreads or salsas can be made way in advance and are easy to can. Assemble the ingredients, canning supplies, labels, and ribbons and your task will be done in no time. Guests will remember your wedding day every time they take a bite.
Another original idea for take away gifts is a small selection of tea bags arranged in beautiful teacups. Buy tea bags in bulk, and look for brands with pretty individual wrappers. Round up your bridesmaids for a fun day of shopping at thrift stores for old teacups in different pretty patterns. Teacups can often be found for less than a dollar each! Attach little handmade labels with pretty ribbon and you have a lovely and useful favor.

Most people use fragrance of one variety or another, whether its function is to cover up possible body odour or just for fun. When I say ‘fun’, I mean ‘pleasure’ or to attract admirers, whether you aim to do anything about them or not. There are literally thousands of scents to choose from and they are priced from cheap to exorbitantly expensive. So, when there are so many choices, how do you know which ones are right for you?
There are a few rules of thumb that you can use as guidelines to help you choose which perfume is appropriate for you. First of all, you will have to know a little about the basic varieties of scent available, before you can find out which brand of perfume will suit you the best.
So, you can begin by taking a look at the ingredients on the bottle. From these ingredients you can determine what type of fragrance is in the bottle. The basic varieties of scent are: light musk, natural scent, loud fragrance, floral fragrance, warm fragrance, bright cheerful scent and a few others.

It has become a tradition in recent years for couples to give out wedding favors as part of the celebration. Favors are typically small, inexpensive gifts that are given as “Thank you” gifts to the guests. Giving favors is a better way of conveying gratitude than simply sending out “Thank you” cards afterward. Couples generally want to display good taste to their guests when choosing wedding favors. Now favors can taste good as well. Coffee and tea favors and Chocolate wedding favors are two items that are always in good taste and taste good.
Coffee and tea favors generally consist of a coffee mug with a selection of coffees, teas, or a mix of the tea included inside. Almost everyone drinks coffee or tea in one form or another, making these favors a type that will be greatly appreciated by all of the guests. It is possible to choose the flavors of coffee or tea in most of these favor items, so matching them to the guests’ preferences should be fairly easy. Another advantage of giving coffee and tea favors is the fact that many suppliers allow personalization of the items by adding the names of the couple and the wedding date to either the cup or the coffee/tea envelopes. Personalization makes certain that the recipients will think about this wedding and the good time they had attending it whenever they drink the coffee or tea. Even people who do not use either substance will appreciate the mug and will think of the couple whenever they use it.

One of the more modern traditions associated with weddings is the giving of wedding favors by the bride and groom as “Thank you” gifts for their guests. Wedding favors can be almost any small, inexpensive item chosen to convey the thanks of the couple in a more meaningful way than simply sending out “Thank you” cards would do. One way to add a touch of elegance to the wedding reception is to choose to give unique wedding favors or glass wedding favors.
Unique wedding favors are items that one would normally not expect to see given as wedding favors. Two good examples would be a pizza cutter with LOVE spelled out on the blade and an ordinary vegetable peeler with a cute saying on the tag, such as, “A peel to my heart”. Neither of these items would be expected at a wedding, yet neither would be out of place as wedding favors. There are an almost infinite number of other items like these that would make wonderful unique wedding favors.

Some of the most talented individuals around the world work in flower shops. This is a talent which requires people to have an understanding of design basics. Not everyone instantly realizes which flowers will work well together.
Using the right texture and color makes a big difference in whether or not in arrangement is attractive. Contrast is definitely a big part of this. Being aware of the color wheel, will allow people to create the best design. For example, using all dark colored flowers such as blue, purple, and green in a bouquet may not allow enough contrast, and may appear dark and unattractive. However combining colors such as pink, red, and white together will be quite beautiful.
More than a few people purchase flowers which are available at the local supermarket or department store. Even though they will look quite lovely, it may not be the best choice. Even though they are beautiful, the way in which they are arranged can make them look even better. When this is left to the flower shop, people can expect to get the very best quality. This is after all what they do for a living, and they are the best at it.

The number of possible choices of items to give as unique wedding favors is nearly infinite.

Certain types of flowers are used to celebrate Easter, the holiest of days on the Christian calendar; they are commonly referred to as Easter flowers. These flowers are colorful, and they are symbolic of rebirth and the Resurrection. They are perfect reminders of Easter and the upcoming spring season. Common flowers used for Easter include lilies, hyacinths, azaleas, tulips, daffodils, and narcissus flowers.
White lilies tend to be the most popular and traditional Easter flowers, and they are commonly used to decorate churches around the Easter season. These flowers originated in Japan, and Americans started to grow them in the 1940′s. White lilies are known to symbolize the renewal and purity that is associated with Easter, as well as Christ’s Resurrection three days after his death. The lily’s flower petals are said to be shaped in such a way as to represent God’s trumpet calling for Jesus to return. It is of note that white lilies’ growth is forced in greenhouses for the Easter season given how extremely common it is for these flowers to be used around that time.
