A ceremony every quarter year to give plaques to worthy employees is ideal. The workplace should never be lacking in admiration and praise. They simply help keep an optimistic attitude and make everyone work lighter and happier, knowing that they are recognized and treasured.
A suggestion for those who have staffers to handle: it’s always better to give them encouraging words than to find a flaw in everything that they do. An appreciation plaque will let them know that you appreciate their hard work.
It is a perfect way to show that you are grateful for their endeavors, particularly after a long and difficult project that had kept everybody on their toes for weeks. It will show that you acknowledge and encourage their endeavors. An appreciation plaque encourages hard work as well.
A coveted is, of course, desired by everyone. That’s why routine salary increment should be practiced in the workplace. But money is short-term. It will be gone after a few hours of paying the bills. A plaque may not be as huge as a financial incentive, but it is a reward that lasts far longer.

Trophies are perhaps the supreme representation of victory. The bigger the trophy, the higher the accomplishment. They are everywhere, from the biggest of competitions, such as major sports events, to the smallest of matches, such as a Spelling Bee competition for elementary students.
Trophy was actually taken from a Greek word. “Tropaion” came from the verb “trope,” meaning “to rout.” Back in ancient times in Greece, people used to make trophies on the battlegrounds of successful battles. Their bases were engraved with the details of the battle, along with a dedication to the god that they believed assisted them win the battle. To destroy them then was considered a sacrilege.
For the Romans during ancient times, trophies weren’t an accolade to the victors and the gods on the battlefield. Instead, they were often placed on pillars and arches. The Romans preferred these exceedingly big icons made in Rome.
No one knew much about its history during the Middle Ages. But it is thought that they were used as prizes for sporting events in the late 1600s. Silver chalices, as well as two-handled sterling loving cups, were the usual shapes used during that period.

A very popular and highly effective method of showing how much you appreciate your client is to present him with a corporate gift. Occasional gifts that demonstrate that the organization is thankful to the clients help immensely in building mutually beneficial relationships with them. Do not forget to consider a few crucial factors when you choose a gift for a client, since these gifts are so important.
The primary consideration should be what the gift is trying to achieve – is it for showing gratitude to the client for his loyalty, or to mark the end of successful venture, or for other reasons. For example, promotional gifts which have a clear promotional angle should be presented if your aim is to attract a potential customer to your company. If that is your objective, then opt for products such as pens and coffee mugs, but ensure that these have your logo printed on them.
However, if the client has been in a long-time relationship with the organization, then the gift should be of a quite special nature. Such long term clients should be presented gifts that are selected more cautiously, after taking into account their personal preferences. You can also show how much you treasure your relationship with the client by giving a plaque, which is always highly effective.
